no pain involved until after the medication is in and then its mild burning for about 30 minutes. having a small lump at injection site is normal, it quickly fades away. remember to pinch up an inch or so of skin and push the needle into the skin at a 90 degree angle until the syringe is flush with your skin then push the plunger down slowly until it stops. then pull syringe straight up, give a hard push on plunger to acitivate needle guard and deposite in your red container for sharps. dont f
