A grief counselor helps six plane crash survivors and develops a connection with one of them. When the survivors begin to disappear mysteriously, she suspects a conspiracy and becomes determined to uncover the truth.

Tyrone Power and Dana Andrews star in this WW 2 action tale about a submarine and it's crew. Andrews is the boat's captain, while Power is the executive officer, and both men jockey for the affection of the same woman, played by Anne Baxter. James Gleason and Harry Morgan are also in the cast of this great wartime production in superb technicolor.

Strangers are brought together by a random car accident, and the narrative follows the lives of the eight groups of people in the 24 hours leading up to the accident.
